Day 65

Well I took an ol dip off the blogging while I was working in Orlando, here let me sum up what you missed.

Day 62 (Tuesday) Orlando-worked
Day 63 (Wednesday) Orlando- worked 13 hours
Day 64 (Thursday) Flew back to KC!!! To where I was welcomed with rain

Which brings up to today, Day 65.
I'm going to try to relax this weekend and not do too much since I'm leaving next Thursday morning to where I'll be heading to Chicago and then NYC, I'm so excited!

Day 61

Wow, 4am came real quick today in order for me to make my 7am flight. Welcome back to Orlando!

You guessed it....hungover. Heading back to Orlando bright and early Monday morning.

Today is Crawl for Cancer in Westport! Drinking from noon until midnight...you can only guess how I felt on Sunday. Here's a few pics... (and thanks for answering the phone when I was drunk mom, love you! and I did take a cab home)

So I "acquired" a new cubemate sometime last month. His name is Ryan. And he's not exactly as tidy as Alex was. I had to threaten him today about his moving box that keeps reappearing on my side of the cube.

What a crappy, rainy Monday. I guess we're approaching that season....TORNADO SEASON. Thank goodness I have a basement this summer.

Day 53

Recovering from a great night. It feels good not having to pack again immediately for tomorrow. I have a whole week before I have to do that again. Woo!!!

3. "Dear Zachary: A Letter to a son about his father"

Watched "Dear Zachary" on my plane ride from Orlando to KC today. It made me cry. Sometimes we take life for granted, and for some it comes to an end too short. I urge everyone to watch this documentary. Yes, it was heartbreaking but it makes you appreciate your own life that much more. Watch the trailer.

Back in KC. Colby has taken a great part in landscaping our house. I even got to pick out some flowers...and then he made me plant it.
